Two-ingredient ice cream cake

This recipe was all over the internet and we couldn’t decide if it would really work and taste good. So we tried it and guess what?  It does work!  This is definitely a conversation piece and so much fun to make!

We added the sundae toppings, as surprisingly the taste is not terribly sweet.  Try this recipe for a kid’s event, party or summer picnic.

Try your favorite toppingschocolate and caramel sauce, nuts, m & m’s, candy, whipped cream or a maraschino cherry on top!

Two-Ingredient

Ice Cream Cake Recipe

1 ½ cups self-rising flour

2 cups ice cream, any flavor

Mix flour and ice cream together. Pour into a loaf pan and bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. This recipe tastes best with full fat ice cream. We used cookie dough—use your favorite flavor! This recipe can be made in muffin tins as well.
