Hurricane Season Food Tips
We are hunkering down here in Charleston as we see Hurricane Irma approaching. If you are unlucky enough to be in the path of a hurricane like we are, plan ahead to have the right food that has a long shelf life, can withstand hours or days of not being refrigerated and can be taken in a car in case of evacuation. If you have to evacuate, don’t forget disposable utensils, plates and cups, paper towels and plastic garbage bags. Wipes or hand sanitizers are helpful as well.
