Meet Susan Weintrob, blogs writer and developer

Susan grew up around food and its prep. Her father owned a deli and catering business, which taught her the key components of the industry. “Writing food blogs is an amazing opportunity. Cooking and talking about food are simply fun and take me back to memories of my Dad.”
Susan writes full time now that she is retired from education. “I've always loved to write and that led me to teaching literature and composition for many years in high school and college, as well as writing a newspaper column for over a decade.” She later became an independent school administrator. From New Jersey, Susan and her husband Neil, a concert violinist, have lived on both coasts, in the heartland, in Paris, France and now Charleston. Their son Ted, is a research chemist and their daughter, Liz, a content strategist. Susan is a regular contributor to online Jewish journals and newspapers and writes reviews and recipes for indiebrag.com, an online independent authors global organization.
And Lisa Rovick, chef advisor
Lisa has always had a love for art and for food. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, she began working in restaurants from the age of 16 and never looked back. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY with degrees in both Culinary Arts and Culinary Management and has moved around the food world over the years, including hotels, restaurants and catering.
Lisa, still professionally catering, is also a home cook now to her partner, Jenn, and their 3 girls, Mckenzie, Avery and Rylan. She says, “I am the kind of chef who likes to cook recipes with easy to find ingredients that are simple and not intimidating to others. I like to teach people to have fun with cooking.” Lisa now collaborates with professional food photographers.
