It's time to get ready for holiday guests by making and freezing ahead. Muffins are perfect for breakfasts, snacks and gifts!

It’s great to go to a muffin shop and be able to choose from a variety of flavors. What about making this variety at home? Here’s the trick: it’s all the same base recipe, with a few easy variations.

By having one base recipe, you can easily make your own favorite muffin flavors. Freeze and use as you need. Kids can help you by adding sprinkles, icings and other favorite toppings.

You can use mini muffin tins--tots love these. Anyone from 2-100 can help!
