Keep your greens fresher and lasting longer!

It’s not easy being a green. The worst is when you become one wilted wet piece of lettuce! It makes the entire bag or bowl of greens smell and look bad.

Here's an easy solution.  We've found that a simple paper towel can keep greens fresher and last longer. Why??

The paper towel absorbs any moisture. You just need to change the paper towel any time it looks damp or wet. This will help prevent the greens from oxidizing from the air.

Easy steps:

  • Wash the vegetables and shakes off excess moisture.

  • Place several dry paper towels in a zip-lock bag. Put washed vegetables between the paper towels.

  • Change paper towels every few days to keep the vegetables dry.

The paper towels work wonderfully with zucchini noodles as well. Make ahead the morning or day before, store the zucchini noodles between paper towels in a zip-lock bag and simply pull out when you are ready for your lunch or dinner

Add your favorite sauce. Click on this link to our Tomato Cream Sauce

1-2-3... so very easy!
