FOOD ON-THE-GO: Easy to make, pack and eat!

Chili is such a great food to take along, especially in the fall weather. You can make it ahead of time and freeze it. You can make it vegetarian or with meat.

Fruit kabobs- sweet and refreshing

Fruit Kabobs are cute and refreshing. Your kids or guests can help make them.   Use red and green grapes, pineapple chunks, strawberries, cantaloupes and/or kiwis.

Snacks:  Going to an afternoon school activity or afternoon meeting? Only need a quick eat? These healthy suggestions will hold you until dinner.

 

Mini pizzas: Spread sphagetti sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on an English muffin or small tortillas. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.
